About me..
I am a graduate of Kean University's Marriage and Family Therapy Post Graduate program and hold a Masters degree in Behavioral Science. I have training in individual, family, and systems work at Ackerman Institute for the Family in NYC and have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focussed Therapy. My background includes working with diverse populations with a focus on cultural and gender differences. I have over ten years of experience and have worked at Gay Men's Health Crisis in NYC, NY, as a Crisis Counselor, Family Service League in Montclair, NJ as a Senior Clinician and La Casa de Don Pedro in Newark , NJ as the Child and Family Therapist. I offer a gay affirmative approach and have done extensive work with the LGBT community and the Latino population.
I have been a guest speaker at Kean Universitiy's post-graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy and have presented workshops for NJAAMFT and La Casa De Don Pedro. I am a member of the following organizations:
